Inspiration
Welcome
Stonehenge AA Freethinkers is an international secular online community of Alcoholics Anonymous (A.A.) which operates in accordance with the Third Tradition of the Alcoholics Anonymous Program ‘the only requirement for A.A. membership is a desire to stop drinking’.
We recognise that not everyone believes in a god or even a higher power; we have created a safe place for people to express themselves regardless of their world views, beliefs, religion, spiritual experiences or rejection of them.
Our meetings have no religion, no prayer – just those gathering together for support and sobriety.

About
Why Stonehenge?

Stonehenge AA Freethinkers has its roots in the English countryside where its founders live close to the World Heritage Site in Wiltshire. Our meetings have always been online, allowing wide attendance - time zones permitting! - from around the world. But we held a very special face to face meeting on 12 September 2023 (pictured above), when 30 Stonehenge AA Freethinkers, from the UK and USA, met for a private session inside the inner circle of stones at sunset. Full details of our online meetings are below.
